What employment opportunities are currently available at ITT CS?
To view a listing of employment opportunities, please use our Job Search feature. You can choose to narrow down your search using the search fields provided, or select the View All button to review a listing of all jobs.
Your resume is submitted to our searchable database after you create your personal Profile. You may also submit your resume in response to specific job openings.
Each job posting you view will have a Submit Resume button at the bottom that will allow you to apply for that specific position. When the Submit Resume button is selected, the job is added to your Job Cart. When you have finished adding jobs to your Job Cart, select the Respond to All Jobs in Cart button. Then simply complete the response form. Be sure to choose a source that will let us know how you heard about us, and fill in the other required information. When your response form is completed, select the Submit Resume button and your resume will be posted against the jobs that were in your Job Cart.
Submitting your resume more than once will NOT increase your chances of being contacted. We will contact you if your skills and qualifications are the best match for a job we are trying to fill.
Why can't I submit my resume via U.S. Mail or FAX?
We receive thousands of resumes and paper resumes take much longer to process. Resumes received via our online response form reach the database almost immediately. You could miss the window of opportunity for a position because of the processing delay. Due to the volume of resumes received and the processing time, it is not ITT's policy to accept paper resumes. Please submit your resume online. No unsolicited Employment Agency resumes are accepted.
How do I use the E-Mail to a Friend option?
The E-mail to a Friend option allows you to automatically e-mail a job description to a friend or previous coworker who may be interested in the job opportunity you are viewing. Just select the E-mail to a Friend button at the bottom of the description and complete the fields on the next page, including the name and e-mail address of the person you are referring. Once completed, simply select the Submit button. Your referral will receive an e-mail message containing a link to the job, allowing them to easily submit their resume.
What is a source and why am I required to select one?
The source lets us know where you saw the position advertised or where you heard about us. There are two source drop-down menus that you are required to choose from when you submit a resume. Please use the first drop-down menu to select the main referral categories, i.e. advertisements, job boards, employee referral, etc. Next, use the second drop-down menu to indicate the specific source, i.e. the name of the advertisement, job board or referring employee.
Why am I prompted to fill out additional information when I apply for some employment opportunities but not for others?
Screening questions are included at the end of the Submit Resume page in order to gather additional information from you to determine whether or not your qualifications are a match for the position requirements. Even if your qualifications are not a match for the position you are applying for, your resume will still be available in our searchable database and may be considered for other positions.
I'd like to be able to include a cover letter with my resume, addressed to the appropriate individual. How can I find out the name of the appropriate individual?
If you would like to include a cover letter, you can paste it into the Resume (CV) Text field on the online response form. It is not necessary to address a cover letter to a specific individual since resumes may be viewed by a number of individuals during the resume screening process.
What if a position I am interested in is not listed on the Careers page? Can I submit a resume anyway?
There are a number of reasons why a position may not be listed on the Careers page. If a position you are interested in is not listed, you cannot submit your resume for that specific position. However, submitting your resume to our searchable database allows you to be considered for all job openings that match your qualifications and interests. It is important to note that you should NOT submit your resume multiple times. Doing so will NOT increase your chances of being contacted. The only time you should submit another electronic copy of your resume is when your resume includes revised information.
How do I know if you received my resume via the online response form?
Once you submit your resume, your Job Cart will display a message thanking you for taking the time to apply on the ITT, Inc. Careers website. An email confirmation will also be sent directly to your email address. The appearance of these messages is your confirmation that we have received your resume. If a problem occurs during the transmission of your resume, a message will appear with the error/reason for the problem, with instructions on when to re-submit your resume.
I submitted my resume through the online response form but I'd like to mail it to you just to make sure you received it.
If you received the confirmation message, you can be sure we received your resume. It is important to note that you should NOT submit your resume multiple times as this will NOT increase your chances of being contacted. Due to the volume of resumes received and the processing time, it is not ITT's policy to accept paper resumes. Please submit your resume online. No unsolicited Employment Agency resumes are accepted.
I tried to submit my resume using the online response form but the Web page indicated there was an error. What should I do?

Will I be notified one way or the other if the job is filled or if I make it to the next step in the application process?
If you received the confirmation message, you can be sure we received your resume. If your skills and qualifications are the best match for an open position, a representative from HR will contact you for further information. It is important to note that you should NOT submit your resume multiple times to the same position as this will NOT increase your chances of being contacted. In fact, submitting your resume multiple times may result in resume processing delays. The only time you should submit another electronic copy of your resume is when your resume includes revised information.
How long are job postings generally on the Web site? Are they posted for a specific amount of time, or until the job is filled?
A position remains on our website until it is filled.
